Fruit tree pruning pays off

Fruit tree pruning carried out in early winter to encourage production of fruiting spurs on this Damson begins to show results. Removing older growth also opens up the canopy to allow air and light in to the leaves, flowers and fruit. This is part of the seasonal pruning service that I currently offer.
