What is Eden Westwood?
A new year-round visitor destination for Devon that is both educational and recreational, and unlike anything you’ve seen before. Delivered as a partnership between Westwood and the Eden Project, Eden Westwood will have positive benefits across the region – attracting investment, attracting greater numbers of visitors to the district and providing new employment opportunities.
All local authorities are required by the National Planning Policy Framework to produce a Local Plan. A local plan allocates land for future developments and enables a council to control the pace and nature of the developments which take place.
For Eden Westwood to become a reality we are asking Mid Devon councillors to allocate land at junction 27 of the M5 for Eden Westwood.
